I want to give good news

I WANT TO GIVE GOOD NEWS

Soon after, Jesus began a tour of nearby cities and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him. (Luke 8: 1 NLT)

I see four things in this passage. Today I will share two of them and tomorrow the other two.

1. The first thing I notice in this passage is that Jesus would travel to different places.
Today we don’t need to travel very far, but we can bring good news to our neighbors, classmates, work colleagues, and relatives.

2. The second thing I see, is that He gave good news.
The world is in need of good news.
Most of the stories we see on television, the news, online social media have to do with sad or tragic situations. They are tabloid reports that exploit human tragedy.

Lord, give me the ability to be someone who brings good news wherever I go. Let me be an instrument in your hands.
Help me be someone who doesn’t bring sadness to the people who talk with me. Give me the grace not to be a toxic person to others, but to be someone who inspires, encourages, and strengthens them.

I want to help people see that God has a great purpose for them and that He has plans for good and not bad for their lives.
I want to help them stay full of faith and hope so they can see everything with optimism throughout the year, and obtain the fulfillment of God’s promises in their lives, the supernatural answers, miracles, legal cases resolved to their favor and a blessed  spiritual, family, social and financial  life.
In our times of prayer let’s ask God to use us so we can be a blessing to all the people around us, use our lips to be bearers of good news, our words edify others and that His Word be in our mouth always.

To be continued…

Think about it:

How long has it been since you’ve shared the good news with someone?
Who have you seen sad or discouraged in your workplace or neighborhood that you could take a word of blessing and share the God’s Promises?
What person do you know that due to problems has lost their  faith, that pray for them and motivate them to continue believing that God is a God of miracles?
