YOUR AGE DOES NOT LIMIT YOUR PRODUCTIVITY
“But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. Even in old For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.” (Psalms 92:12-14 NLT).
At what age do we stop giving fruit and stop being productive? That depends on where you are planted.
I am a man of faith, I have always believed that my greatest years are yet to come. My age doesn’t have to limit my productivity.
Every year that I have lived has always taught me a new lesson and new abilities. Time has helped me accumulate experience, anointing, and influence that will now allow me to reach more with less.
There are three things that I see God rewards with rejuvenation:
1. When I live for God’s purpose. When I dedicate myself to do good, I have more possibilities of maintaining myself energetic than if I were to satisfy the sinful ways of my flesh with addictions and destructive habits. The eye’s desires, the desires of the flesh and the pride of life. (1 John 2: 16-17).
2. When I trust God with my life, I am rejuvenated, and my strengths are multiplied.
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat
worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT). or
3. When I am just.
But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.” (Psalms 92:12-14 NLT)
Think about it:
At what age did we stop bearing fruit and were no longer productive?
What are you doing to fulfill God’s purpose?
Who do you place your trust in when you’re going through problems?
