Discern and teach

DISCERN AND TEACH

You must distinguish between what is sacred and what is common, between what is ceremonially unclean and what is clean. And you must teach the Israelites all the decrees that the Lord has given them through Moses.” (Leviticus 10:10-11 NLT).

Discernment and teachings.

In a modern society that evolves quickly, it is easy to lose the principles that God has established in his Word because we get dragged into philosophical tendencies, peer pressure, trends, and social media.

We are responsible for using wisdom to distinguish between what is good and what is not, and then teach that to others.

1. Let’s regularly read our Bible and compare what God says with what society says. The only way to distinguish between what is good and bad is knowing what pleases God because of what his Word says.

2. Let’s share good, Biblical principles with others, which are those that give us success in our spiritual, family, social, and financial life.
Let’s not forget to teach these principles to our children. The discernment between what is good and bad should begin in our homes. This prepares our children to maintain firm and healthy convictions in a liberal and toxic society.

You must distinguish between what is sacred and what is common, between what is ceremonially unclean and what is clean. And you must teach the Israelites all the decrees that the Lord has given them through Moses.” (Leviticus 10:10-11 NLT)

Think about it:

What are you struggling with because you are unsure of what is correct after hearing so many different opinions?
What does God say about it?
Do you read God’s word daily?
Do you regularly share the principles from God’s word with your family?
