IGNORE TOXIC PEOPLE
If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. 11 For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. (Titus 3:10-11 NLT)
One would like all people to think and act like us, to be our close friends for life, but there will be people who, by their way of being, always disturb the unity of the group and good relationships. They are argumentative people, undisciplined, that cause divisions and fights.
The mentor should warn them, correct them, instruct them with patience, train them, but if people insist on their bad behavior, then it’s better not to wear ourselves out emotionally and allow them to think and do what they want and for them to pay the consequences.
For example, in Eagles CFC we have decided that alcohol destroys, but if someone insists on arguing that the Bible allows him to be a drunk, then he is simply respected, but he can’t be a leader or have a position of influence.
…have nothing more to do with them. 11 For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. (Titus 3:10-11 NLT)
Let’s ask God through prayer to give us wisdom to choose the people with who socialize and who will help us go to another level.
Think about it:
What friendships do you have that wear you out or have got you into trouble?
How does being around toxic people affect you?
With what people do you think It would bless you to associate with?
