THE HUSBAND’S PRAYER IS POWERFUL
Isaac pleaded with the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The Lord answered Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant with twins. (Genesis 25:21 NLT).
How much time were Isaac and Rebecca unable to have kids? Let’s look at these two verses and count.
When Isaac was forty years old, he married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan-aram and the sister of Laban the Aramean. (Genesis 25:20 NLT).
Then the other twin was born with his hand grasping Esau’s heel. So they named him Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when the twins were born. (Genesis 25:26 NLT).
According to the story, Isaac got married when he was 40 years old, and had his twins when he was 60.
This means that almost 20 years passed in which Rebecca could not bear children.
Who knows how these two decades must have felt in that home? Who knows how much medicine they tried? But, things changed when they decided to truly pray.

Lord, help me to be the type of man who makes prayers that move the spiritual realm, and that when I pray, the physical obeys the spiritual, and that your supernatural power manifests miracles, signs, and wonders
