WE SHOULD DO HIS WILL
Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God—
as is written about me in the Scriptures.’” (Hebrews 10:7 NLT)
Why did we come into this world? To do his will.
We all came into this world to do the will of God on this Earth. We were purposely born because of God, not by accident or coincidence.
1. In heaven, there is something specifically written about you about what you were sent to do with your life on this Earth.
2. Pray so that God’s will is fulfilled in your life.May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 NLT).
3. What are the benefits of doing the will of God?
We are on this Earth to do His will, but, what do we gain when we do His will? Living in God’s will is good for us because it not only pleases us, but it also produces benefits such as: joy, abundance, protection, provision, peace, and blessing.
I take joy in doing your will, my God,
for your instructions are written on my heart.” (Psalms 40:8 NLT)
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.” (Psalms 143:10 NLT)
Think about it:
Do you know what God’s will is for your life?
Have you been doing His will?
Why do you think it’s better to do God’s will rather than your own?
