Let’s pass on the instructions

LET’S PASS ON THE INSTRUCTIONS
GOD, MOSES, JOSHUA, MULTITUDES

As the Lord had commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua. And Joshua did as he was told, carefully obeying all the commands that the Lord had given to Moses. (Joshua 11:15 NLT).

1. God gives instructions to Moses.
2. Moses passes on the same instructions to Joshua.
3. Joshua passes on that same message to the people.

Here are three people involved as leaders: God, Moses, Joshua, and then the multitude of people and families that would be affected for good or bad depending on whether they passed on the original instructions well.

When we do our job well and pass on God’s instructions to our children or disciples, we are also assuring the success of our next generations in this world.

The result of Joshua’s obedience was a decisive success.

So Joshua conquered the entire region—the hill country, the entire Negev, the whole area around the town of Goshen, the western foothills, the Jordan Valley, the mountains of Israel, and the Galilean foothills. (Joshua 11:16 NLT)

As the Lord had commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua. And Joshua did as he was told, carefully obeying all the commands that the Lord had given to Moses. (Joshua 11:15 NLT).

Think about it:

What instructions have you received from God through his Word or your pastor? Have you done them as they were told to you?
Have you made sure to pass on those instructions to your children?
Did you know that through your obedience, you’re assuring the success of your future generations?
