When their feet

WHEN THEIR FEET…

It was the harvest season, and the Jordan was overflowing its banks. But as soon as the feet of the priests who were carrying the Ark touched the water at the river’s edge, the water above that point began backing up a great distance… (Deuteronomy 3:15-16 NLT).

In this story of the Bible, we can see how God opened the path for his people to walk through dry land in the middle of the sea. First, it happened with Moses and the Red Sea, and this time with Joshua and the Jordan River. This happened to demonstrate to everyone that, in the same way that He was with Moses, God was also with them to bring them faith and show them his power and favor.

In the same way, God wants to perform miracles in your life, he wants to trust in Him despite any obstacles that come your way, and to continue advancing toward the purpose He has for your life.

  1. Dare to take a step of faith.
Don’t hold back. Believe that He will do it and take that first step, because he will then do the rest.
  2. Stand firm before the waters.
Don’t be afraid, don’t look back, fix your gaze on him.
  3. Take others on the path of success.
We can see in this story how the people passed, so, do not be alone when you’re doing something great. Take your family with you, your team, leadership, etc.

Think about it:

What had been holding you back from advancing toward your purpose? What goals, dreams, or plans had you left halfway done? What is the first step of faith that you need to give?
