Don’t leave for tomorrow what you can do today

DON’T LEAVE FOR TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY

Don’t brag about tomorrow,
since you don’t know what the day will bring. (Proverbs 27:1 NLT)

Be wise with the opportunities that life gives you today. There are opportunities that will not come again for many years.

Take time to eat with your kids today.

Apply for that scholarship, now that you are on time.
Choose to eat healthier starting today. Take all that damaging food that’s full of fat out of your kitchen, throw out those sodas that are full of sugar and destroy your pancreas.

Start to move more and exercise, even if it’s for 10 minutes today.
Go to sleep half an hour earlier today.
Choose to tithe today.
Read your three chapters of the Bible today.
Speak with God today in prayer and ask him for direction to make decisions.

Ask for forgiveness and forgive today. Maintain healthy relationships and don’t leave for tomorrow what you know should heal today.
Say that “I’m sorry” today.

Learn one word in English or Spanish today.
Help someone today.
Choose to serve in your church today.

Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring. (Proverbs 27:1 NLT)

“I will do so and so one day” generally means “I’ll never do it.” So, it is today that God gives you a new opportunity.

Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring. (Proverbs 27:1 NLT)

Think about it:

What decisions were you postponing?

What good habit do you know you need to start for the good of your physical health or marriage?

Have you let good opportunities pass you by?
