Promises yet to be fulfilled

PROMISES YET TO BE FULFILLED

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19 NLT).

Many of us have received a word or believed a promise from God, but sometimes it seems as is those promises do not come, or when they do, they suddenly start to die. “You brought me to the United States, but I don’t have a job” “You gave me a home and now I lost it”, “You promised me health and now I am sick.” What do we need to do to activate our faith and see the fulfillment of God’s promises?

1.- Remember God’s promises. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19b)  Today is the day to remember everything God has promised through His Word: promises of healing, salvation for your family, prosperity, restoration in your home, blessing, favor, open doors (jobs, residencies, new home, etc.)

2.- Believe despite the circumstances. Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. (Heb. 11:1 NLT) Believe, even if everything seems lost! Believe God can heal you even if the diagnosis was negative, believe that your marriage can improve, your family can be saved and in that miracle you have so desperately waited for. Don’t stop believing!

3.- Serve God by serving others. For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. (Heb. 6:10 NLT).  When we have a heart that thinks of others, God will answer the petitions of our heart. When we serve and help others, when we give offerings, etc. we are doing it for God and the reward comes from Him.

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19 NLT).

Think about it:

What promise from God have you been waiting for?
Have you thanked God by faith before seeing your promise be fulfilled?
What can you start doing to serve God?
