THE LORD WILL GIVE YOU STRENGTH AGAIN
“The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” (Psalm 29:11 NLT)
Throughout the years, there have been many times where my peace has been threatened, but this verse says that He gives me His peace.
On those occasions, I was not sure whether I was going to have the strength, motivation, energy, and resilience to move forward with some projects, but this verse reminds me what God has done. He has always surprised me and given me the strength to continue.
Sometimes questions would arise such as, “How are we going to finish the construction of our church?” “How am I going to keep a healthy heart after going through the disillusionment, criticism, and betrayal of other people?”
Maybe you have sometimes asked yourself if you will have the motivation to finish school, start a new job or business, or continue fighting for your children and marriage, etc.
We can rest in knowing that He will always give us His grace to do what He is asking us to do. Grace refers to the supernatural power of God to be what we cannot humanly be, and do what we cannot humanly do.
Let’s motivate ourselves once again this week with these words:
“The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” (Psalm 29:11 NLT)
Think about it:
Are you on the verge of losing your peace about a situation?
Are you in need of his grace at this moment?
Have you resorted to God to give you new strengths and peace?
