WE SHOULD BE INTENTIONAL
“So I am planning to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God, just as he had instructed my father, David. For the Lord told him, ‘Your son, whom I will place on your throne, will build the Temple to honor my name.’” (1 Kings 5:5 NLT)
We should be defined and live with intention if we want to achieve important projects in our lives.
We can’t leave things to coincidences. We cannot live by simply dreaming and having good desires. We should focus on living with intention.
Solomon clearly knew what God’s mission for him was, and because of that he took definitive action. He intentionally began to recruit leaders who would help him with the job. His days were full of intentional tasks that would help him build the temple.
“So I am planning to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God, just as he had instructed my father, David. For the Lord told him, ‘Your son, whom I will place on your throne, will build the Temple to honor my name.’” (1 Kings 5:5 NLT)
Think about it:
What has God trusted you to do in this season of your life?
What is the project you have been postponing?
What is required for you to accomplish this project? What actions do you need to take?
