Distinguish between good and bad

DISTINGUISH BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD

I said, “Listen, you leaders of Israel! You are supposed to know right from wrong, (Micah 3:1 NLT)

It is important for leaders to have wisdom. People who are in places of influence need to know how to discern between good and evil because there are people who are watching us to follow our example.

For example, leaders of Eagles CFC. We have decided to abstain from alcoholic drinks. It is not our place to condemn other congregations who think differently, but we have decided that no alcoholic began an alcoholic, but with a little social drink, with phrases such as “One won’t do any bad”, “one is nothing” etc.

Even though I used the example of leaders in church, I want to mention that everyone is influential in some area and need to know how to distinguish between good and bad.

If a father gives the impression to his family that there is no wrong in drinking alcohol, stealing, doing dirty business, or having sex outside of marriage, then the children and future generations will also see that as normal.

But, when the leader in a home considers the fear of God good, they will adopt good values such as integrity, respect, fear of God, service, etc and inspire the rest of the family to do the same.

I said, “Listen, you leaders of Israel! You are supposed to know right from wrong, (Micah 3:1 NLT).

Think about it:

What area of influence has God trusted you with?

Are you being an example to follow for your family or people below you in some area?

What values move you?
