What to do in the midst of problems? III

WHAT TO DO IN THE MIDST OF PROBLEMS?

Part III

After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!” (2 Chronicles 20:21 NLT).

Another thing King Jehoshaphat did in them midst of his problems was obey God’s instructions after consulting Him.

He began to sing his victory, not his problem. King Jehoshaphat placed some to sing to God, and that way they began declaring their victory before going out to battle. These songs made God’s glory descend, causing their enemies to destroy themselves. Because of what Jehoshaphat did, they didn’t have to fight and God gave them the victory.

In the midst of problems we need to learn how to be grateful and declare what’s good, not bad. We should praise and worship God, resting in Him and trusting that He will defeat our enemies.

In the midst of sickness, sing and declare your healing. In the midst of shortage, sing your prosperity, in the midst of pain and doubt, sing with faith that the best is yet to come. Worship God, and in the midst of your worship comes your victory.

Think about it:

What does your mouth declare in the midst of problems?

During problems, do you fight in your own strength or let God fight for you?

What situation are you going through for which you need to sing to God about?
