What to do in the midst of problems? II

WHAT TO DO IN THE MIDST OF PROBLEMS?

Part II

But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!” (2 Chronicles 20:17 NLT)

Do what is possible, and God will do the impossible.

God’s response to Jehoshaphat was giving him direction on what he needed to do, and he told him to remain calm and go out against their enemies. He would do the rest and Jehoshaphat obeyed.

When people see problems, they become full of anger, fear, sadness, they lose control and make the problems even bigger. God wants us to rest in Him and will sometimes tell us to remain calm in prayer, while other times tell us to take action for what we are asking for. For example: for you to go and fill out that job application, home, and scholarship application, etc. and God will give you His favor.

Do what is possible, and the Almighty God will do the rest. Trust in Him, don’t be afraid or faint, and contemplate on Him giving you the victory.

Think about it:

In the midst of problems, do you consult God and follow His direction?

Do problems make you feel paralyzed or do you do your part in solving them?

Are you one of the ones that fight when confronted with problems or do you stay calm waiting for God’s intervention?
