Why do things end badly sometimes?

WHY DO THINGS END BADLY SOMETIMES?

Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you.
You have forgotten the Rock who can hide you. (Isaiah 17:10 NLT)

Why do we get into so many situations in this life and make bad decisions?

Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you. (Isaiah 17:10 NLT)

Why do we see so much suffering in the world? Because people have decided to leave God out of their lives.

Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you.
You have forgotten the Rock who can hide you. (Isaiah 17:10 NLT)

Why are there gangs and groups in the world that fight amongst themselves in the same city? Why is there war in the world?

Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you. (Isaiah 17:10 NLT)

Why are marriages failing and families falling apart at an increasing rate?

Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you.
You have forgotten the Rock who can hide you. (Isaiah 17:10 NLT)

What is the solution? Return to God!
Put God at the center of our lives again. Get close to God again. He has good plans for us.

Therefore, say to the people, ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. (Zechariah 1:3 NLT)

Jesus said: Apart from me you can do nothing.

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5 NLT)

God has plans of good for our life.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)

In those days when you pray, I will listen.  If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.  I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” (Jeremiah 29:12-14 NLT).

Think about it:

Have you parted from God?
What things have gone bad for you because of bad decisions you made? What do you need to do for God to reestablish your wellbeing?
