Transformation begins in the heart

TRANSFORMATION BEGINS IN THE HEART

They are always thinking about how much it costs. “Eat and drink,” they say, but they don’t mean it. (Proverbs 23:7 NLT)

A genuine transformation begins in the heart. We need to open our hearts so that the Holy Spirit can transform us.

We can continue to see miracles, but if we do not open up our heart to God, we will never be transformed. In other words, God’s glory will not be evident in one’s life.

Why did Peter deny Jesus three times even though he saw the miracles first-hand? Because he lacked the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. That is why Jesus sent us the Counselor.

But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. (John 16:7-8 NLT)

When we are transformed in the heart, then the Holy Spirit overflows in us and transforms hearts of stone into sensitive ones.

Transformation is inevitable for children of God. He who does not transform stops fulfilling his purpose and becomes stagnant. God has called you to manifest His glory on this earth, don’t grow stagnant! Let God transform you!

They are always thinking about how much it costs. “Eat and drink,” they say, but they don’t mean it. (Proverbs 23:7 NLT)

Think about it:

Is your heart open for God to do whatever He needs to do in your life?
Are you a person that remains full of the Holy Spirit?
Have you stopped fulfilling God’s purpose?
