The danger of bitterness

THE DANGER OF BITTERNESS

Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside.. (Psalm 73:21 NLT)

Bitterness is a resentment in the soul that contains rage, sadness, affliction, disgust, depression, and isolation.
Bitterness is considered a spiritual sickness, the most destructive and voracious one, since it eats up the person little by little even if they hadn’t noticed.

Bitterness causes unsatisfaction, living with complaints and we end up “contaminating” everyone else with bad attitude, not being happy and not making others happy.

We should know if we have a heart full of bitterness and do what is necessary to clean it out. Ask God to care for your heart, examine yourself with humility to know whether you’re contaminated with this feeling, forgive, and be free of bitterness so that you can be happy.

Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside… (Psalm 73:21 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you ever felt bitterness?
Are your words always complaints or are they positive?
Do you distance or bring people closer with your attitude?
