When he became powerful

WHEN HE BECAME POWERFUL

But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the Lord his God by entering the sanctuary of the Lord’s Temple and personally burning incense on the incense altar. (2 Chronicles 26:16 NLT)

Uzziah became prideful we he became powerful.

One of human being’s greatest dangers when achieving success is that we can become prideful and begin to live as if we didn’t need God.

God desires us to be blessed in everything. He doesn’t have a problem with us being prosperous, but our challenge is to remain humble and know that all good things come from God.

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. (3 John 1:2 NLT))

Let’s remember that if God blesses and prospers us, and makes us successful, we should remain humble, be humane and kind with others since:

1. All blessings come from God.

2. We are simply administrators.

So look at Apollos and me as mere servants of Christ who have been put in charge of explaining God’s mysteries. (1 Cor. 4:1 NLT)
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. (1 Peter 4:10 NLT)

3. He blesses us so we can bless others. I will make you into a great nation.
I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. (Gen. 12:2 NLT)

I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. (2 Chronicles 26:16 NLT)

Think about it:

Has God blessed you?
What can you do to not forget all of the blessings God has given you?
In what ways do you think you can share your blessings with others?
