Why bad people prosper and good ones dont – II

WHY  BAD PEOPLE PROSPER AND GOOD ONES DONT
Part 2

Lord… So let me bring you this complaint: Why are the wicked so prosperous? Why are evil people so happy? (Jeremiah 12:1 NLT)

  1. There are two questions we sometimes ask ourselves:
  1. When we pray about our frustrations, God will help us clear our mind and gain a new perspective. Look at what God says in His Word:

Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong.  For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.  Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 37:1-4 NLT)

  1. When we pray, the Lord will heal our hearts and challenge us to not play the victim, but to be strong and brave. We cannot grow discouraged because of small things. Remember that God still has great plans for our lives.

If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan? (Jeremiah 12:5 NLT)

Think about it:

Do you speak more words of blessing or curse? Words of faith or negativity?

Is your heart healed or sick?

Do you think you need to forgive someone in order for your heart to be healed?
