We shouldn’t follow just anyone’s advice, rather follow the
recommendations of those who follow God’s law.
Let’s be careful that the advice we receive doesn’t come from stubborn people, rather people who have wisdom, intelligence, and successful experience in that area.
For example, what would you expect from a marriage counselor who has bene married three times? As if someone who is in debt with half the world could show you how to have financial success? What authority would a pastor have if he didn’t give advice according to the Bible?
Think about it:
Who do you run to when you need advice?
Do you assure that the advice you receive is in accordance with the Word of God?
Did you know that the answer to all of your doubts is in the Word of God?
