GOD DOESN’T FORCE ANYBODY
“As for you, O people of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go right ahead and worship your idols, but sooner or later you will obey me and will stop bringing shame on my holy name by worshiping idols. (Ezekiel 20:39 NLT)
God says, “Do what you want, but, if you’re going to live for me, do it voluntarily with a clean and healthy heart.”
As for you, people of Israel (people of Las Vegas), this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go right ahead and worship your idols (worship materialism, fame, power, sex, love of money, etc.)
…but sooner or later you will obey me and will stop bringing shame on my holy name by worshiping idols. (Ezekiel 20:39 NLT)
God gives us free will to choose whether to obey Him or not, but if we decide to follow Him, we must completely give ourselves. We can’t live with one foot in church and the other in the world. We can’t manipulate God.
“As for you, O people of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Go right ahead and worship your idols, but sooner or later you will obey me and will stop bringing shame on my holy name by worshiping idols. (Ezekiel 20:39 NLT)
Think about it:
Is your attitude good and pleasing or bad and repulsive?
Have you chosen to follow God and obey Him or the contrary?
What changes do you need to make in your life to fully give yourself to God?
