The thickness of my walls

THE THICKNESS OF MY WALLS

After that, the man brought me into the sanctuary of the Temple. He measured the walls on either side of its doorway, and they were 10 1⁄2 feet thick. (Ezequiel 41:1 NLT)

The thickness of the temple walls was thick, this speaks about having good protection. In other words, it couldn’t easily be trespassed by an arrow or stone.

Today, let’s speak about our bodies as temples of God. I would like to apply the idea that the thickness of the walls represents the thickness of our spiritual life, the quality of our communion with God, our prayer life, the thickness of our faith during difficult times.

The more thick our spiritual walls are, the more protection we’ll have. We will be more resistant to flaming arrows and attacks that the enemy can send to our lives.

After that, the man brought me into the sanctuary of the Temple. He measured the walls on either side of its doorway, and they were 10 1⁄2 feet thick. (Ezequiel 41:1 NLT)

Think about it:

How is your prayer life? Your Bible Reading? Your service to God?
How is your level of generosity and faithfulness in tithes and offerings?
Do you regularly and voluntarily practice fasting?
How thick are the walls of your temple?
