There will be life wherever these waters go

THERE WILL BE LIFE WHEREVER THESE WATERS GO

There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows. (Ezekiel 47:9 NLT)

We live in a world where much evil exists, and the news generally reports negative events, destruction and death. But, the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings life again to the cities where it is preached.

The water represents the river of the Spirit of God.

The news reports yearly divorce statistics; the church reports the number of marriages that were restored that year through retreats and Houses of Peace.

The Health Department mentions the number of people addicted to drugs; the church reports the number of people freed from addiction in the Celebrate Recovery ministry.

Facebook shows the youth getting drunk and getting into accidents, but the Radical Generation ministry shows the youth being full of the Holy Spirit in their youth services.

What accounts for the difference? Because where the river of God is, there is also life.

There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows. (Ezekiel 47:9 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you let the river of God come to your life, home, and family?
What has the river of God done in your life?
What will you do to take the river of God to your family members and friends?
