HOW TO BRING THE MEDICINE AGAINST EVIL TO ALL THE WORLD?
Part 2
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15 NLT)
Yesterday we learned that we are all full-time ministers and have the medicine to combat evil by taking the Good News of salvation to our place of work, family, friends, etc. Today we will share three more things that will help you understand the purpose of God in your life and your role in bringing the supernatural medicine to the world:
1. We all “preach” but we don’t all “preach.”
What I mean is that you don’t need to preach from a platform in a church or stand on a corner with a megaphone shouting at people that they are going to Hell. You did it in a casual way in your daily life by living in a different way at your job or school.
You preach when you have an attitude of faith and kindness when the majority of people are negative and rude.
You preach when you speak to your friends about how your marriage has changed and invite them to a House of Peace or church on Sunday.
3. Just tell your story.
You don’t need to wait to know the entire Bible.
You don’t need to wait to complete Bible college.
Just be natural and tell your story (testimony).
A good story includes a before and after.
-How was your life before you knew God and God’s family? In other words, your church?
-What happened when you gave your heart to Christ?
-How is your life now? Tell them how your home, finances, and character has improved and how your negative attitude has changed into an attitude of faith.
Talk to them about how God blesses your business more without you having to lose your family.
Maybe even tell them about a healing miracle you received, etc. Tell your friends.
4. One house at a time.
How do bring this supernatural medicine to all the world? In the same way that evil has been spread out all over the Earth: Each person contributing a little bit. In the same way, we should all contribute a bit of the Good News of the Gospel.
Dinora and I wouldn’t be able to speak to thousands of people at the same time, but in Las Vegas we have hundreds of homes that open all around the city to have groups meet, friends and family, and thousands of people every week learn, fellowship, support and pray for each other in a House of Peace.
Think about it:
In what way do you preach your testimony to people?
What is your story to tell?
How was your life before and after coming to know Christ?
Can people see a difference in you in your way of behaving?
Who could you invite to church or a House of Peace this week?
