What is success?

WHAT IS SUCCESS?
WHY DO I WANT SUCCESS?

Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind. (Ecclesiastes 4:4 NLT)

There are many valid definitions of success, but mine is simply: “To continually fulfill God’s purpose for my life.”

Purpose is defined as “the intention with which something was created.”

Success is achieving more money, fame, and power than my neighbors, coworkers or school peers.

Success is not doing what someone else is doing. It’s not singing or playing a sport like or better than someone else.

Stop trying to be what your friends, family, or enemies want you to be and focus only on what God wants you to be and do.

Each of us was born with a purpose and unique assignment on this planet. You cannot fulfill my purpose, nor I fulfill yours.

You can have many “achievements,” but if you didn’t fulfill the purpose God put you on this earth with, you’ve never achieved success.

Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind. (Ecclesiastes 4:4 NLT)

Think about it:

What did God create you for?
What are your natural talents?
What are you so passionate about in this world that it even makes you cry?
