How to be firm, even if the day is bad

HOW TO BE FIRM, EVEN IF THE DAY IS BAD

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.. (Ephesians 6:13-19 NLT

14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.

I will speak the truth today. Truth has authority within itself. Truth will keep me honest today.

Lord, I will remember to be just with others. I know that you love justice and what you ask of me if justice, mercy, and humility. (Micah 6:8).

15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.

Lord, I will be alert to see how I can share your message of peace and salvation to someone today.

16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.

I will not stop dreaming because of bad news. I will not let myself get intimidated by attacks from the enemy.

Faith is not the absence of fear, rather walking by faith on top of fear.

17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

I will cover my head with thoughts of the word of God. (Philippians 4:8)

The Word will be my sword, guide, life manual, my sword against an anti-God society influenced by a spiritual battle. (Ephesians 6:12)

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

I will pray for my family, church, and those who still have not come to church.

19 And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.

Lord, bless me with people who will also lift Dinora and I up in prayer.

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.. (Ephesians 6:13-19 NLT)

Think about it:

Which of all the points do you need to practice to be firm?

Who can you share the message of salvation with today?

Have you remained perseverant in prayer?
