HOW TO RESOLVE FAMILY PROBLEMS?
Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.. (Philippians 2:2 NLT)
1. The first thing you should do is come to an agreement that the most important thing will be to quickly resolve any difficulty with love, respect, and dignity.
Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.. (Philippians 2:2 NLT)
2. Then, both people will have to renounce to their rights. Don’t try to egoistically reclaim what you deserve. Generally, this will have a negative effect because the other person will think that you are ignoring their feelings and rights.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble… (Fil. 2:3 NTV)
3. Value other people.
Ask yourself, what can I do for my wife? Instead of asking, what can she do for me?
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.. (Phil. 2:3-4 NTV)
If both have this attitude, then you will see how difficulties in the home won’t be a tragedy. There will always be “problems,” but they will not be damaging because we have learned to resolve them easily before they become “real problems.”
Think about it:
In your marriage, do you try to come to an agreement with your spouse or always want to be right?
In what way do you think reclaiming your rights and being egotistical makes problems worse?
In which of the three points do you need to work on?
