Let God speak for you

LET GOD SPEAK FOR YOU

But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. (2 Corinthians 10:17-18 NIV)

Don’t praise your own self.
Let God praise you in front of others.
Let God recommend you through other people.
Let other people talk good about you.
Let your acts of love show who you are.
Let your full Christ-like character speak for you.
Let God defend you and don’t be bitter.

Hasten, O God, to save me; come quickly, Lord, to help me.  May those who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me.May those who try to kill me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.
(Psalm 70:1-2 NLT)
But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. (2 Corinthians 10:17-18 NIV)

Think:

What does God say about you?
What do people say about you?
Are you the type that defends yourself, or do you let God defend you from injustice?
