OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MIDST OF TRIALS III
Let’s take all adverse situations as an opportunity to be more constant, and grow in character, integrity, ask God for more wisdom, and act with faith, taking out what’s best in us and believing that God has control of all things. His Word is the truth and He does not lie. Trials give us an:
Opportunity to develop our faith. (James 1:6)
If you had stopped dreaming because things didn’t go as you had hoped in the past, dream again. “Failure is not falling, rather not getting back up.”
Trials are an opportunity to act with faith, without doubting. It is an opportunity to define what we are living for. (I am either Christian or not, it produces determination).
You determine if you will feel sorry for yourself for what didn’t go well for you, or if you will rise up and use that situation as a steppingstone to be better: a better spouse, parent, child, etc.
The size of what tears you down determine the size of your success. A person that does not know how to get back up after a fall is a reflection of all the falls they haven’t gotten up from. There is doubt, and doubt is constant in all their ways. (James 1:7-8)
Think about it:
What opportunities have you seen in the midst of a trial?
In what path had you been inconstant? Marriage, job?
What miracles have you experienced in your life because of your faith?
