Three reasons for your existence

THREE REASONS FOR YOUR EXISTENCE

For you… my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.  For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.. (Galatians 5:13-14 NLT)

1. You were created to know and love God.
You were made in the image of God. What makes you different from animals is that you have the capacity to love God because you were made in God’s image, and He is love.
You will never see a church full of bulls or cows worshiping, singing or serving God.

2. You were created to be a part of God’s family.
God wants to have a family. We all need a spiritual family and through Christ, we all become part of the Lord’s family.

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. (Ephesians 2:19).

3. You were created to serve God.
On this earth, you can’t serve God directly. So, how do we do it? We serve God through loving and serving others.

Understanding this eliminates a great deal of stress in your life. You will worry less, and it will give you purpose to get up motivated every day.

Think about it:

What difference has the love of God made in your life?
Have you let Christ come into your heart? Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior?
In what area can you serve God in your church?
