We should live with wisdom and purpose

WE SHOULD LIVE WITH WISDOM AND PURPOSE

Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom. (Psalm 90:12 NLT)

A facet of wisdom is living with purpose, for which we have to learn how to avoid doing anything that will deviate us from our purpose, and do everything that will advance our purpose.

We should know when to say no and when to say yes, because not everything takes us to our purpose.

For you, a thousand years are as a passing day,
as brief as a few night hours…. (Psalm 90:4 NLT)

That’s why it’s necessary to ask God for wisdom.

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.. (James 1:5 NLT)

Life on this earth is only practice for eternal life. It’s only the warm-up before the game, the appetizer before the main entrée.

Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom. (Psalm 90:12 NLT)

Think about it:

What do you need to begin to do to advance your purpose?
To what or whom do you need to say “no” that deviates you from your purpose?
Are you living life with wisdom or do you need wisdom from God?
