COMPLETE THINGS
FULFILL YOUR MINISTRY
It’s easy to be deviated from our purpose by problems and frustrations, but, I choose to walk forward despite them, and fulfilll my ministry.
It’s easy to be tempted to leave our marriage halfway, abandon our studies halfway, quit the marathon when our muscles hurt and we can’t breathe, leave church when someone disappoints us, etc. But, I choose to fulfill what I’ve resolved myself to do.
This verse gives me many instructions on what I need to do to finish everything I need to do.
But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. (2 Timothy 4:5 NLT)
1. I need to keep a clear mind. I shouldn’t allow confusion, and I shouldn’t allow my vision to be blocked. I should continue dreaming with a happy home, a healthy body, a big church, etc.
2. I shouldn’t fear suffering for the Lord. Fear paralyzes, and makes you miss out on opportunities. It confuses the mind and makes you see false ghosts. Fear nullifies faith. Fear makes me leave things halfway, steals my joy and makes me live miserably.
3. I should stay focused and keep myself busy teaching what I have learned from God.
4. I shouldn’t stop halfway. Say no to “I quit”
5. I should fulfill my assignment.
Think about it:
What had you stopped or been tempted to stop doing and leave halfway?
What assignment has God given you in your family, ministry, profession, etc.?
What things do you need to sit and clarify once more to be able to finish them with success?
