Faith and trust in God

FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD
The father that walked with God

Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God—
as is written about me in the Scriptures.’”. (Hebrews 10:7 NLT)

We have been learning about Noah, a man who walked with God and found grace before God’s eyes. As a result of his obedience, his wife and children were saved from the great flood.

Noah was persistent to create the ark. In the same way, we should prepare the environment for our family to be saved, so that our children serve God.

1. By faith, Noah walked with God. He built the ark by faith. He didn’t doubt God’s instructions, he didn’t doubt God’s warnings, rather believed everything He said that would happen and acted in faith. We should also see by faith our children being ministers of God, professionals, and what is not seen yet. We should begin to prepare the area with prayer. We should believe that God’s promises are yes and amen!

2. They labeled him as crazy. People didn’t believe him when they were told there would be a great flood. Maybe even his family didn’t believe him and thought he was crazy, since it had never rained. They didn’t know what that was. But, that didn’t stop him from the mission God had given him, as he continued to believe in God.

Sometimes, God asks us for great things that we don’t know how we’re going to d0. But, let’s believe in Him, do our part that is possible, and God will do the impossible. He takes charge of the miracles.

Examples: The men rolled the stone away from Lazarus’ tomb and Jesus raised Him from the dead.

3. Put your abilities in God’s hands, just like Noah did. Don’t wait for what God asks to have logic. Don’t wait for everyone to understand you. Just trust in God and you will achieve great things.

The greatest treasures of this world, the greatest losses of this world are the ideas that were taken to the grave. That’s why, it’s better to tell God what this verse says:

Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God—
as is written about me in the Scriptures.’”. (Hebrews 10:7 NLT)

Think about it:

What do you need to see done by faith?
What is your part and what is God’s part in the miracle you’re waiting for?
What abilities has God given you that you need to put in God’s hands?
