PUT ATTENTION TO THE IMPORTANT THINGS

(FOCUS)

Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. (1 Timothy 4:15 NLT)

1. Pay attention. There are many things that compete for our attention and our resources, time, money and effort.
TV and social media try to captivate our attention with the latest trend, the most scandalous news, the opportunities of bigger businesses, the most recent product promoted to diminish the body fat in a miraculous way, etc.
In a world with so much information it is easy to lose focus on the important things: God, family, work, ministry.
We must put attention to the correct order of priorities. What is the most important thing for me in this life? Why was I born?

The Bible says:

Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. (1 Timothy 4:15 NLT)

2. Give yourself fully. Once we have understood our purpose, the reason why we exist, then we must fully give ourselves to it.
We must have a focus on our mission and not get distracted by going after the “opportunities” that arise daily.
We must give ourselves fully to what gives us passion and not live casually.
We must Work hard and intelligently. Lazy people will not accomplish great things.

3. The attention and dedication to important things will make me progress with success. The Bible says:

Think:

What area of your life do you need to give attention to?
What has destroyed you?
Are you fully dedicated to what gives you passion? What is the most important thing for you in this life?
