The goals God blesses
Part 2
(Proverbs 16:3 NLT)
Are your goals bless able? Is one of your goals to have a better relationship with God? For your goals to be blessed by God it is necessary to:
1.- Your goals must be clear and measurable. ¡ I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.’ (Philippians 3:13-14 NLT)
- Convert your dreams into goals and your goals into plans! It’s not just about saying: “I will exercise this year”, but “I will walk 30 minutes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 4pm”.
- Examples of measurable goals are the following: “I Will pray every day at 6am and I will read 3 chapters daily”, “I want to make my family better, I will invest one hour with my son on Fridays, I will go eat with my wife every Monday, etc.”. “I will make my finances better with the norm 10-10-80 (10% for God, 10% for savings and 80% for my general expenses).
2.- Your goals must have faith. And it is impossible to please God without faith (Heb.11:6)
- If you made sure that your goals this year do not go against God and they take you to accomplish the purpose for which He place you on Earth for, now dare to dream in big. Do not limit yourself to your strengths and habits, better yet add the supernatural power of God!
- It is very important to have goals, because if we do not have them, then we can get discouraged, because we were made to dream and succeed. Therefore, place goals this year and take advantage of every opportunity!
