WHY DOES IT BENEFIT ME TO THINK ABOUT THE BIBLE DAY AND NIGHT? Part II
Yesterday we learned that thinking about the Word of God day and night benefits us because:
- We must be careful on what we think, that determines how we feel.
- We think in what we love, and we love what we think about a lot.
- We even sing about what we think.
Today we will learn two additional points as to why it benefits us to read the Bible day and night:
4. Thinking about his commandments produces joy in us.
Our thoughts determine our feelings, that’s why, we must think in the good about his promises.
That is why, we must think in his instructions or commandments, because this causes us to do things that make us happy.
5. In the end, it’s for our own good. It is to our benefit that the Word of God is in our mind and heart to not sin against Him and so that everything that we do may go well.
That is why I meditate in the Bible every day and we invite you to do the same, reading at least three chapters daily and writing what God speaks to you through them
Think:
Are you reading and meditating the Bible daily?
Are you following Gods instructions for your life?
Do you do a daily devotional about what He speaks to you daily?
