DO SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY
So Noah did everything as the Lord commanded him. (Gen. 7:5 NLT)
If there was anyone who could have made excuses for not doing something, it would have been Noah. God was asking him to do a project that seemed crazy or as if taken out of a sci-fi movie.
In those days, it had never rained on the earth and Noah didn’t even live near the ocean, yet God was saying strange things to him as:
1. Build an arc of gigantic dimensions. (Extraordinary)
For what? An arc had never been made, nor had it ever rained on earth, and as said, Noah didn’t even live near the ocean. What is God asking me for? Noah might have wondered.
What has God commanded you to do that is EXTRAORDINARY in the year 2020? Don’t be afraid if God asks you to do something different, something you’ve never done before, something your family or friends haven’t dared to do. Just do it. No excuses.
2. Put two animals of each species in.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t control rabbits, birds, snakes, etc. How did Noe do it?
God has control over what you and I have no control over. We will face family and financial situations from which we have no control, but fear not, only obey and believe God. Just do something extraordinary and don’t make excuses.
Think about it:
What will you do that is EXTRAORDINARY this year?
What dreams have you had?
Do you need to decide to pray daily, read His word, give offering, or serve in your church?
