WHY DOES GOD HATE SPIRITUAL LUKEWARMNESS?
Because it robs you of your potential.
There is no champion in sports that has not been intense. To be a champion, losing is not an option.
In the same way, no Christian champion would let a corrupt society destroy their potential and purpose for which God called them for. God called you to be a champion.
Jesus told them: If you can believe, everything is possible if a person believes. (Mark 9:23)
Paul: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Jesus: Take heart, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
- We should take control of our lives or someone else will do it for us.
- People will be unreasonable but love them anyway.
- If you’re successful, you will gain fake friends and true enemies, but be successful anyways.
- If you do what’s right, people will accuse you of selfish motives, but continue doing the right thing.
- The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow but do it anyway.
- Honesty and truth will make you vulnerable but be honest anyway.
- People with a great mentality will be attacked by people with a mediocre mentality but think greatly anyway.
- The great things you do for God for many years can be destroyed in a minute but continue doing great things for God.
- Give the world the best of you, and you will be criticized by some. Christ Himself was criticized but continue to give the best of you and don’t let anyone control you except God Himself.
Think about it:
Have you been criticized for thinking at large?
What is robbing you of your potential?
What great dreams do you have from God?
What or who has control of your life?
