HOLINESS, BIBLE, PRAYER AND HOLY SPIRIT
Part 2
We must be aware of these four words, because the world is getting even more difficult every day, and in our strength, we won’t be able to overcome. This year and decade, we need to be saturated by these four things. People will see something different in you.
Yesterday we learned the importance of holiness, and today we will learn the importance of reading the Bible and praying.
BIBLE. Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105 NLT)
If you don’t read the Bible you have no direction. Many keep stumbling because they have no light. We cannot know God’s instructions for our life if we do not read His Word.
PRAYER. Pray without ceasing. (1 Thess. 5:17 NIV)
We need to spend time with God to know Him more and above all to be more like Him. We need to have a relationship with Him in order to look more like Him, and to be fuller of His love. In prayer we find rest for our soul, in prayer we lighten our burdens and renew our strength.
Oh, how I love your teachings! I think about them all day long. (Psalm 119:97 NLT)
Think about it:
Are you at least reading the three daily chapters of the bible?
Do you write your rhema word, even if it’s short?
Do you dedicate time daily to God in prayer?
