Holiness, bible, prayer and Holy Spirit III

HOLINESS, BIBLE, PRAYER AND HOLY SPIRIT
Part 3

… But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NLT)

This year and decade, we need to be saturated by these four things. People will see something different in you when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. You must entrust this year to God to be full of anointing.

We’ve been learning the importance of holiness, prayer and reading the Bible, and today we will learn the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT.
We need the power of the Holy Spirit. Marriages are trying to fix their problems with their own strength, with shouting, arguments, etc. when what they need is the power of the Holy Spirit.

There are people struggling with destructive depressing thoughts of failure and negativity, with habits they have not been able to break, immoral thoughts, addictions, etc. They’ve tried to be set free; they’ve tried to stop saying bad words, they have tried, but they have not been able to. They alone will not be able to, because they need the power of the Holy Spirit, it is not with the sword or an army, but with the Holy Spirit.

Example, when Saul was anointed, he was changed into another man.

At that time the Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them. You will be changed into a different person. (1 Samuel 10: 6 NLT)

Do you want love for souls? Do you want to be a better father, a better husband but you haven’t been able to? You will not achieve it without the Power of the Holy Spirit.

… but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you… (Acts 1:8 NLT)

Think about it:

What have you not been able to change in your own strength?
What habits or thoughts have you failed to overcome?
How do you think the Holy Spirit can help you?
