Coronavirus, a calling to come back to God? II

CORONAVIRUS, A CALLING TO COME BACK TO GOD?
Part 2

You neglected the Rock who had fathered you;
    you forgot theGod who had given you birth. (Deut. 32:18 NLT)

Yesterday we spoke about how we were very comfortable enjoying the abundance and all the blessings given by God and how we had forgotten who had given us the blessing: God, but that difficult circumstances make us come back to him.

Twodangersofblessing:

1.- Abandoning God.
Immature people dedicate to food and parties and they abandon God.

“But Israelsoon became fat and unruly; the people grew heavy, plump, and stuffed!
Then they abandoned the God who had made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation. (Deut. 32:15 NLT)

2.- They have roused my jealousy by worshiping things that are not God;

    they have provoked my anger with their useless idols. (Deut. 32:21 NLT)

Lord free me from idolizing the blessings. I never want to forget that you are my Savior, my provider, my healer, my blessing, etc.

I was born to do your will and I want to finish my life doing your will.

I don’t need the threat of a coronavirus to love you and serve you.

Lord, I don’t want nothing on this earth if I don’t have you.

Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. (Psalms 73:25 NKJV)

Think about it:

Did materialism become your God?
What things were your God?
Which of these points do you need to ask forgiveness for?
