How to be healthy in this crisis? part 3

HOW TO BE HEALTHY IN THIS CRISIS?
Part 3

(The Lord) is my shepherd; I shall not want.2 He maketh me tolie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restorethmy soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. (Psalms 23 AKJV)

We have been learning that in order to stay emotionally healthy Psalm 23 helps us a lot, knowing that God is our Shepherd and we will not lack anything, knowing that in Him we find rest and that He gives us:

Renewed Strengths.  “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake”. (Psalms 23:3)

This verse tells us that in the midst of this pandemic He will renew our strength. What keeps us on our feet aren’t human strategies, or mind control, that’s witchcraft, and that brings more ties. Self-motivationmayhelp, butit’snotenough.

Like you, we also go through uncertainties, decisions to be made, both personal and ministerial, the responsibility and financial commitments of the church, the needs of the people, etc. We are able to stay emotionally and mentally healthy, to keep hearing the voice of God and be able to write our devotionals and teachings, is because the Lord is our Shepherd and He renews our strength.

He will comfort, it tells us that He will take a weight off us, He will provide us with relief and emotional rest during this time. We may be carrying stress and worries, but He will remove all that.

It speaks to us of understanding. There are people who don’t understand us, and sometimes not even we understand ourselves, since sometimes we are happy, and others sad; sometimes calm, and sometimes desperate; But He does understand us, and He knows exactly how to fill those areas that neither of us would know how to fill.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake”. (Psalms 23:3)

Think about it:

Have you felt that your strengths have been weakening during this time?
What weight have you been carrying alone?
Have you asked God to give you new strength?
