How to be healthy in this crisis?

HOW TO BE HEALTHY IN THIS CRISIS?

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. (Psalms 23 AKJV)

This crisis has affected us all and there has been a shaking of our emotions, our minds, our family, and work routines. It’s normal that as humans our emotions are disoriented, and consciously we may not realize it, but everything has been shaken.

This emergency has not been an emergency for many, since they had practiced 10% tithes, 10% savings and 80% to live, but although we have been prepared, there are many needs; not only economic, but emotional, relational, and those are needs that have been empty. For example, someone who is very relational can be greatly affected by confinement.

In this Psalm we can learn things that will help us during this time of crisis:

1. Needs filled. “The Lord is My Shepherd; I will lack nothing”(Verse.1)

God is our Shepherd and we will lack nothing, and our needs will be met. We don’t know by what means they will arrive, but we are sure that we will not lack anything.

Perhaps we as Pastors are not going to be able to supply all the needs; but our source is not man, our source is God. God meets all our needs. We can’t lose our identity that we are children of God and He is our Father and we will lack nothing.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”. (Psalms 23:1 KJV)

Think about it:

What area has been the most difficult for you in this time? Emotional or mental?
In what needs do you need to be filled by God?
How does declaring this verse from Psalm 23: 1 relieve you?
