When God’s voice is scarce

WHEN GOD’S VOICE IS SCARCE

Meanwhile, the boy Samuel served the Lord by assisting Eli. Now in those days messages from the Lord were very rare, and visions were quite uncommon (1 Samuel 3:1 NLT)

Let’s be a different voice during this time of coronavirus.
This passage speaks about a spiritual crisis in society and that many things were scarce:

1.- God’s word was scarce
. No one had fresh and relevant messages. They were bored and dazed by their daily routine.

…Now in those days messages from the Lord were very rare, and visions were quite uncommon (1 Samuel 3:1 NLT)

2.- Vision was scarce
. People didn’t have vision, there was no prophecy, they had conformed.

3.-They didn’t dream
. They had lost the ability to see God’s dreams for their lives. They only saw the impossibilities.

You and I must be a different voice!

Let’s speak something other than what news stations are informing.

That God’s word isn’t scarce, that there is an abundance of messages of what He is speaking now to the world and the church.

Let’s help maintain the vision of a better future.
Let us not promote fatality, let us paint the image of what God sees for His children.

“Tell the righteous that all will be well for them”. Isaiah. 3:10

Think about it:

How do you think most people are affected by hearing so much bad news?
Do you speak the same as the News or do you speak words of faith?
What can you do to take a message of faith and hope to those around you?
