Don’t neglect your spiritual life

DON’T NEGLECT YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NLT)

When pressure comes, I have seen many neglect their spiritual life, and they end up giving permission to certain emotions in the heart and some thoughts of last year, and they begin to destroy what God has given them by getting involved with another man or woman, they take off their clothes of faithful spouse, they take off the clothes of the faithful Christian, because under pressure they yielded, they surrendered, and they succumbed.

Don’t say that because of the crisis you went back to addictions or destroyed your marriage, no! Put on the garments that God has given you, put on the helmet of salvation so that those destructive and toxic thoughts don’t arrive, you have the mind of Christ!

During this coronavirus time, don’t return to temptations.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 NIV)

Continue praying, keep reading the Bible, keep listening to Sunday preachings online, keep connecting with your house of peace.

Resist the temptation!

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. (1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you neglected your spiritual life?
Have you fallen into any temptation?
What do you need to do to focus once again on caring for your relationship with God?
