Renew your mind with the truth

RENEW YOUR MIND WITH THE TRUTH

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  (Rom. 12:2 NIV)

There is a reality of a pandemic, there is a reality that there are many sick people, it’s a reality that the economy is partially closed, it’s a reality that there is stress due to lack of work. That is the reality, but we must renew our minds with the truth. (The Word of God)

Whoever doesn’t want to renew their mind only sees crisis, depression, shortage, that there is no work, etc. But those who have renewed their mind with Truth, see by faith that they have a better job, a better future, they see things differently.

God’s truth is higher than reality. God’s truth is the highest level of reality there can be.

How do we renew our minds? How do we bring stability to our minds? Renewing our minds with the truth of God.

When you feel out of place remember the truth of God. I go to bed reciting verses from the Word of God, I get up remembering those verses, I bathe and sing the word of God.

Is there crisis? Yes, but Isaiah 3:10 dice: “Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.“For some the fruit is that they will leave depressed, bitter and without the desire to work, but for the righteous it will be different.

Jeremiah 29:11 says: For some the fruit is that they will leave depressed, bitter and without the desire to work, but for the just it will be different.

Is there crisis? Yes, but Matthew 6:33 says: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”. We have things coming to our lives!

Isaiah 26:3 says: You will keep in perfect peace, those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”. To the righteous God gives us perfect peace.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  (Rom. 12:2 NIV)

Think about it:

What do you see in this time of crisis?
Do you need stability in your thoughts?
What thoughts does your mind feed on, the news or the Word of God?
