The source of my hope in times of crisis

THE SOURCE OF MY HOPE IN TIMES OF CRISIS

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. . (Psalms 23:1-3)

God is still my shepherd!

This fills me with security, gives me hope, affirms my faith, and fills me with peace even in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. I’msurethat:

1.- God will provide for all my needs.I shouldn’t worry too much.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not ]want.. (Psalms 23:1)

2.- In this pandemic I am learning to “relax” and let go of the control I am used to exercising.

He makes me lie down in green pastures…(Psalms 23: 2) He teaches me to rest when I feel stressed.

3.- God will recharge my battery when I feel worn out.
In the midst of the pandemic many of us feel exhausted, “burned out” or drained, without fuel; but God gives me rest and my strengths multiply to continue flying like an eagle.

“ He leads me beside the still waters”.(Psalms 23:2)

4.- God guides me when I feel confused. Indecision consumes our energy and these days there are so many decisions to make: Spiritual, family, financial, ministerial, school, etc. But every day I am seeing your guidance and endorsement.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake”. (Psalms 23:3)

My source has not changed in this time of pandemic. God is still my shepherd and your Shepherd!

(The Lord) is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalms 23:1)

Think about it:

In what ways have you seen God’s hand meeting your needs in this pandemic?
Have you learned to rest in God at this time?
Have you allowed yourself to be guided by God in this crisis?
