Restart or fear

RESTART OR FEAR

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT)

We need to eliminate fear from our lives to have a restart in this decade and go for God’s blessings.

The majority of us have fears. We have different types of fears and they’re not all bad. There are certain fears God places in us to prevent us from getting hurt or having an accident. For example, fear of fire is not bad. It prevents a child or us from sticking our hand inside a stove fire. That fear is good because it keeps us from tragedy.

But, there are others that aren’t good and prevent us from reaching everything God has for our lives.

  1. Fear opens doors for the enemy to tempt you.
  2. Fear forms your identity.
  3. Fear diverts you from your destiny
  4. Fear places spiritual bonds.
  5. Fear paralyzes.
  6. Fear robs you of kindness and makes you aggressive and dangerous. Example: A sweet puppy, even if it’s normally calm, will try to bite if it feels threatened.

Restart or fear? You should look ahead and remember that no matter what happens, the Lord will go before you. He will open a way.

If we direct our lives toward the Heavenly Father, we don’t need to fear because God Himself will be with us. God Himself will not fail.

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT)

Think about it:

What fears do you need to overcome?
Have you directed your life toward your Heavenly Father?
Have you let fear rob you of your kindness?
