HOW TO RECEIVE STRENGTH IN THE CRISIS?
So he got up and ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to travel forty days and forty nights to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God. (1 Kings 19:8 NLT)
In this time of crisis, when you feel tired, don’t go back, don’t go back to the bar, don’t go back to your lover to soothe your depression. Elijah didn’t run from God!
Unfortunately, there are people of God who are succumbing, under the pressure trash is coming out, they have forgotten where God took them from and they begin to adulterate and fornicate, they stop offering and tithing, they stop winning souls, they return to alcohol and drugs; because the crisis has become real, personal and prolonged.
Where did Elijah run to? He ran to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God
CPR is used to resurrect people when they are dying. There are people who need spiritual CPR, but that only comes from GOD. So, what should we do in this time of crisis?
- Run to God. God makes the enemy’s attacks work for good, for those of us who love him.
- . We have to continue to see by faith that the best that is coming, even though reality is getting heated. By faith we will see the Truth.
- . Long road awaits you! Elijah still had to anoint two kings and a great prophet who would take his place: Elisha.
You have to get up and go back to God! You have to live by faith! You have to persevere, because you still have great things to accomplish before you die!
The devil takes the opportunity to kill us when we sit and sleep. We are all going through the crisis, but we must not fall into the cycle of hopelessness. We need to know that God changes all things for the better. God transforms everything that comes from the enemy for good!
Think about it:
Where are you running to?
Where are you looking for the solution?
Who have you tried to take refuge in? In unemployment?
Have you fallen into despair or are you still in faith and persevering?
